We have included photos of some of the mature does at Plumbago Stud.
Our does are retained as breeding stock after careful consideration to their size, conformation, type and also research into their genetics. This is to establish the type and strengths we wish to breed into our herd.
A lot of thought is given to establish our breeding program and to decide which doe is to be bred to the correct buck, so as to compliment the doe and achieve and develop the breed characteristics we are aiming for in developing our miniatures.
Our does as with all our animals at our stud are kept in good condition, interacted with daily and are treasured each and every one of them!
